Achieving Leapfrog’s Highest Honor is Worth Celebrating. Spread the Word!
The highest-performing hospitals on the Leapfrog Hospital Survey are recognized annually with the prestigious Leapfrog Top Hospital designation. Top Hospitals have better systems in place to prevent medication errors, higher quality maternity care and lower infection rates, among other laudable qualities. Hospitals that are eligible to receive a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade must have received an "A" in the most recent round of scoring to be eligible.
The designation is not given to a set number of hospitals but rather to all teaching, general, rural and children's hospitals that meet the high standards defined in each year's Top Hospital Methodology.

What comes with a Top Hospital license?
- High resolution date-stamped logos in various formats, ready to use at your discretion in internal and external promotional campaigns.
- Print and digital templates for advertisements that you can easily customize for your facility, with multiple messaging options to choose from.
- A Leapfrog Top Hospital badge to embed on your website, with dynamic code that automatically updates if you achieve your designation again in a subsequent cycle.

New Consecutive Top Hospital Badge
Being a Top Hospital is an elite achievement, and it is a rarity to be a Top Hospital for consecutive years. It takes teamwork and dedication to be a Top Hospital year over year. This year we are happy to announce that we have made it easier to show off your achievements. Included in your license is a new consecutive badge that is customized for your hospital.
New Promotional Space
Patients and families, employers and purchasers, prospective employees and referring physicians visit the Leapfrog website to check your Results from the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. New promotional space on your facility’s dedicated Results page helps connect them with your newest program, service or improvement. Your promotion gives them a reason to stay focused on your facility: a service they didn’t know you offered, an investment you just made or a recent accomplishment. No-Cost Promotion
Without a license, your hospital or surgery center can:

Please note, hospitals and surgery centers are not permitted to create their own version of Leapfrog’s designated logos. A license is required to use the designated logos in any format.
With a Paid License
